Day Captain Jacob S. Urban

Day Captain Urban hails originally from Indiana and begin his career as a first responder in Kentucky. Arriving in Connecticut in 2007, he was hired by our department on September 8, 2009. He was promoted to Lieutenant on February 12, 2019, and Day Captain on July 27, 2021. Captain Urban oversees a wide array of responsibilities including our Training Division.
