ANNUAL MEETING OF THE

FIRST FIRE TAXATION DISTRICT

CITY OF WEST HAVEN

Electors of the First Fire Taxation District City of West Haven are hereby notified and warned that the Annual Meeting of said District will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 7:00 P.M. in the Savin Rock Community School, 50 Park Street, West Haven, Connecticut.

The purpose of said meeting will be:

1. Election of a moderator.
2. To receive the report of the Board of Fire Commissioners.
3. To submit the budget for the year 2025-2026 for approval and prescribe the rate of taxation to be levied and collected in said District, based on the 2024 Grand List.
4. To nominate candidates, who are electors, for Fire Commissioner, whose names shall appear on the voting machine at the Election for Fire Commissioner, to be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 between the hours of 12:00 Noon to 8:00 P.M. at Surfside, 200 Oak Street, West Haven, Connecticut.
5. To transact any other business properly brought before said meeting.
